My 2022 theme is Year of Cupcakes in the Delicious Metropolis. It’s inspired by the title of a Wayne Thiebaud book, which came to mind when I learned of the artist’s late December death.
I foresee a year of things in 2s and pairs. There are a lot of 2s in 2022. My social media feed drew my attention to a numerological analysis of the year. I’m neither supporting nor negating numerology as a whole. This much I can agree with: if 2s represent balance, I like the forecast.
Soon after I read the article, I found two pennies on the ground. Good fortune abounds if you intentionally look for it.
The Delicious Metropolis book fuses urbanism and desserts, two of my favorite things. Here’s to a year of delicious metropolitan cupcakes with worldly accents.
