Because imitation is flattery, I converted an Ice Cream Jubilee idea into cupcakes. The ice creamery created a flavor honoring Madam VP-elect Kamala Harris. It contains cardamom — an ingredient in Indian ice cream, kulfi — and Amaretto, representing California almonds.
This inspired me to bake cardamom almond cupcakes for the occasion.
