I transported my cupcakology to the East Coast in the spring of 2010, when I moved to Washington, D.C. By the summer of 2011, I was on assignment to write for the Washington Post.
I tracked the Sprinklesmobile when it toured D.C. to promote its Georgetown store opening in March 2011. I followed Sprinkles to Capitol Hill, where it staged the Congressional Cupcake Wars in the Rayburn House Office Building in July 2011.
